PURPOSE: To perform the adjusting work by oneself by securing the operational lever with predetermined drawing margin then moving the equalizer to the position where the tension meter fixed to the brake cable will show the predetermined value.

CONSTITUTION: At first a stopper pin 9 is inserted through a stopper hole 8a made at the predetermined position of a bracket 8 for mounting an operational lever 1, then said lever 1 is rotated untill the rear end face section 1' will collide against the stopper pin 9 while a hook 10 is engaged with a ratchet 11 to secure the operational lever 1 at the position. Then a tension meter 7 is stretched over a parking cable 4 and an adjusting nut 6 is fastened to the position where the tension meter 7 will show the predetermined value thus to move the equalizer 3.
