Abstract:
The torque converter drive coupling allows a crankshaft (1) to be releasably coupled to a pump wheel (5) for a coaxial hydrodynamic torque converter, with the pump wheel supported from the drive housing (12) via a radial bearing (9). The pump wheel (5) may be combined with the rotor (8) of an electrical motor, the radial bearing contained within the electrical machine housing (10) which is secured to the drive housing (12).
