Abstract:
PURPOSE:To judge the input to a touch panel to be an unexpected input or an intended input by using a probe as the tool with which a conductor is touched and detecting and outputting the frequency which is generated at the time of touching it with the probe. CONSTITUTION:A probe 20 whose front end touches an overall conductive film gripped in a hand is provided. When the conductive film 1 is touched with the probe 20, position information is obtained in accordance with potentials on both sides of the conductor, resistance values from both ends to a contact point, and current values, and a counter 21 detects the frequency generated by an external signal source and outputs it as frequency information for discrimination of a contact object. Thus, the contact input to the touch panel is judged to be an unexpected input with a hand or an intended input.
