Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a transfer belt device capable of preventing the occurrence of curling tendency and elongation when a transfer belt has been left standing for a long period in a state where it is fitted to the device. CONSTITUTION:In this transfer belt device having the transfer belt 2 supported and extended by plural rollers, a bearing 7 pivotally supporting at least one roller 4, a bearing holding member 8 for holding the bearing 7 so as to move it back and forth in the pressing direction of the transfer belt 2 and a pressurizing means 9 for elastically pressurizing in the pressing direction, a pressurization releasing member freely attached/detached to the bearing holding member 8 and pressing the bearing 7 up to a position where the pressurization of the transfer belt 2 is released, to bring the bearing 7 to a standstill is provided.
