Abstract:
Workpieces (17) are transported step-by-step by means of transport bars (4) with grippers (5) which are longitudinally and transversely movable. The transport bars (4) are designed as flexurally and torsionally rigid hollow sections, and their ends are rigidly clamped in place and guided by means of angles (6) by means of longitudinal guides (7, 8) with little play and transverse guides (9, 10) with little play. An especially rigid and relatively light construction which permits high working cadences is thus obtained.
