PURPOSE: To provide an aqueous emulsion for coating, capable of easily giving a peelable coating agent composition having excellent coating properties without causing the ammonia smell problem and to provide a coating agent composition produced from the aqueous emulsion.

CONSTITUTION: This aqueous emulsion for coating contains a copolymer of (A) an acrylic acid derivative such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and maleic acid, (B) one or more kinds of metals having ≥2 valences such as zinc, zirconium, calcium and aluminum and (C) one or more kinds of α,β-monoethylenic unsaturated hydrocarbons such as ethylene, styrene, methacrylic acid, methyl methacrylate and ethyl acrylate. The coating agent composition contains the aqueous emulsion.
