Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow suppression of battery consumption by varying the base current of a power supply transistor inserted in a feeder line.
CONSTITUTION: Emitter and collector of a power supply transistor 3 are inserted into a feeder line L connected between a battery 1 and a load 2. A transistor 91 for connecting/disconnecting the base and earth of the power supply transistor 3 is connected therebetween along with base resistors 31, 32 for regulating the base current. Upon conduction of a transistor 61 for feeding current periodically to an inductor 4, the base resistor 31 is connected in parallel with the base resistor 32 to increase the base current only at that time.
