Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a low cost method of manufacturing a coffee filter paper with improved filtering speed to be used for an automatic vending machine.
CONSTITUTION: A pulp slurry blended over 30 deformation per cent with a cellulosic natural fiber whose cross sectional deformation is less than 1.2 is used as a raw material where cationic fixative, anionic fixative, alkyl ketene dimer, etc., are added so that the zeta potential of the slurry is maintained with the range of over -5mV and less than +5mV. A coffee filter paper with a bass weight of 25g/m2 is thus manufactured by this method.
