Title:
ROTARY HEAD DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5922490
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration in signal at high speed reproduction, by driving a mounting stand of a rotary head with a moving element such as a piezoelectric element or the like and controlling the head azimuth to a recorded magnetizing pattern so as to be brought close to the normal speed reproduction at the variable speed reproduction.

CONSTITUTION: A head chip 1 is held with piezoelectric elements 2, 3 and the piezoelectric elements 2, 3 are driven with a modulated output of a low frequency oscillator 5 via drivers 7, 8 and the head 1 is modulated vertically to a track. The amplitude is detected at a pressure transducer 4 and applied to error detectors 9, 10. On the other hand, an envelope of a reproduced RF signal 11 is picked up at the detector 12 and applied to the error detectors 9, 10, which detect the shift of track from the phase difference between a modulation signal 6 and an envelope waveform and apply a feedback to the drivers 7, 8.
