PURPOSE: To prevent securely continuous self-timer photography by setting a self-timer mode when a self-timer lever is returned from a set position to a reset position.
CONSTITUTION: An unlock button 18 is pressed and the self-timer lever 8 is returned to the reset position to start self-timer photography. Namely, a movable contact 12a is brought into contact with a contact piece 12c and then a release switch 37 is turned on for the self-timer photography. Consequently, a latch signal is inputted to a latch circuit 30. Then, the movable piece 12a is switched to a contact 12b and then a start signal is inputted to a timer circuit 31. In this case, a shutter is operated a specific delay timer later because the self-timer signal is already inputted from the latch circuit 30. Thus, the self-timer mode is never set when the lever is at the set position, so continuous self-timer photography is prevented securely.
