Abstract:
The part, particularly a wrist watch, is comprised of a watch (10) and a bracelet (11) of which the case (12), respectively the links (13) are made of steel. The upper faces of the case (12) and of the links (13) are coated with a surface layer (14) of which the hardness is of the order of ten in the Mohr scale. Said layer (14), which is directly applied to the steel forming a substrate (15), is comprised of diamonds grains (16) and of a binder (17). The diameter of the diamond grains (16) and the thickness of the layer (14) are of the order from 1 to a few microns.
