Title:
FILTRATION FILTER FOR SEPARATING SOLID FROM LIQUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6014918
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a filter which is reproducible and reusable in good yield and is easy to handle by using spherical particles of a sintered boby having uniform diameter, and forming a large number of clearances having uniform size.

CONSTITUTION: Glass beads, glass balloons, and aluminum oxide balls are used as spherical particles 3. Although the particle diameter depends on the size of a solid to be separated, the diameter is generally regulated to 10W1,000μ. The size of the clearance H of a filtration filter and the void volume are selected from the size of the solid to be separated and the filtration condition, but the size of the clearance is selected within the range of 100W1μ and the void volume within the range of 20W40%. The spherical particle is packed in a heat resistant vessel, and heated in a heating furnace to obtain the filter. The regeneration is carried out by washing the filter with strong acid, strong alkali, etc. from the surface opposite to the surface on which the solid matter is deposited to remove the deposited solid matter.
