Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the detecting accuracy by providing a block wherein separators mounted at the rear part of a plurality of collimators and having the thickness smaller than the rear part of said collimator are overlapped with scintillators having the thickness larger than a gap between rear ends of said collimators. CONSTITUTION:Both sides at the rear part from the middle of a unit base 6 of a detector unit 10 are parallel to each other and thin, while the front part of the unit base is narrowed. The unit base 6 is accordingly an inverted trapezoid. The front part has the thickness about twice the rear part. A photodiode array 3 is bonded to the upper surface at the rear part of the unit base 6 and an elongated photodiode is mounted at a predetermined position of the upper surface of the array 3 confronting to the lower surface of a scintillator. The scintillator 1 and a separator 2 are preliminarily bonded to the upper surface of the scintillator 1 on the upper surface of the array 3 and the array 3 and the lower surface of a block 7 which is set and bonded in bonded so that a rear end thereof confronts to an upper front surface of the base 6 and a front end thereof confronts to the separator 2. Collimators 4 are mounted so that an extension line of each center line passes a focus F, with an angle between the center lines of the adjacent gaps 4a being a predetermined value.
