Title:
ALLOYED ZINC PLATED STEEL PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5839792
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an alloyed zinc plated steel plate which prevents cratering during electrodeposition painting by forming the surface compsn. of a plating layer into the single phase structure of an Fe-Zn alloy contg. no alpha-Fe and specifying the thickness of said plating layer. CONSTITUTION:An alloyed zinc plated steel plate which is formed with a plating layer wherein the surface compsn. is the single phase structure of Fe-Zn contg. no alphaFe to 3-20mu thickness by applying zinc hot dipping or zinc electroplating on a steel plate and heating the steel plate or applying Fe-Zn codeposition electroplating on the steel plate. The alloyed zinc plated steel plate having the surface of the single phase structure obviates deposition of nuclear materials in the plating layer and suppresses cratering in the state of cationic electrodeposition painting. If the thickness of the plating layer is about 1-2mu, there is no effect of suppressing the cratering.
