PURPOSE: To realize a wide TDR by a method wherein a control over combustion volume ranging from the maximum combustion amount to its middle combustion volume is carried out in response to a variation in a driving pulse frequency of a pulse driving type pump and a control over combustion volume ranging from the middle combustion volume to the minimum combustion volume is carried out in response to a variation in driving pulse width of the pulse driving type pump.
CONSTITUTION: Information is detected by a feeding water thermistor 10 and a flow rate sensor 9 and then sent to a sensor sensing part 8. At a combustion calculation part 7, a requisite combustion amount is calculated in response to these data. At a combustion judgement part 6, it is judged at, for example, 10,000Kcal/H and in the case that the value is larger than that value, it is connected to a frequency calculation part 4 and in the case that the value is smaller than that value, it is connected to a pulse width calculation part 5 so as to perform each of the calculations. As a result, a driving wave shape form is made at a pulse pump driving part 3, applied to a pulse pump 2 and then fuel is sent to the combustion part 1. Since a combustion volume is controlled under a frequency of the pulse pump and a pulse width, it is possible to get a wide control range.
