Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cooling device capable of simultaneously mitigating accommodation limitation, shortening electrical radio frequency links, and radiating heat through a relatively small radiating area.
CONSTITUTION: A satellite with a traveling-wave tube 26 having a collector 28 thermally insulated from the remainder of the tube includes a radiator 24 installed outside the south or north panel 22 of a satellite main body to radiate heat into space and a link part 30 thermally isolated from the south or north panel 22 and thermally coupled to the collector 28.
