Abstract:
An exhaust gas return pipe branches off from the longer feed pipe. In an exhaust gas system for vehicles with an internal combustion (IC) engine, the exhaust gas is feed over a catalyst the tail of the vehicle, where the exhaust gas pipes are joined together by one cylinder on one side of the IC engine in the collecting pipe. The exhaust gas flows to the second feed pipe having a differing pipe length to the catalyst and the feed pipe with the larger pipe length may be closed via a vent.
