PURPOSE: To shorten a rear protruding dimension and provide a bulb socket excellent in mounting work property.

CONSTITUTION: The bulb-side (+)-terminal piece 33 and feed line-side (+)-terminal piece 34 of a (+)-terminal part 32 are arranged in the side-by-side standing state in the inner part of a bulb socket 20. The bulb-side (-)-terminal piece 36 and feed line-side (-)-terminal piece 37 of a (-)-terminal part 31 are arranged in the side-by-side standing state in the inner part of the bulb socket 20. Since no protruding part from the bottom surface 21a of a socket housing 21 is thus present, the whole length of the socket housing 21 can be shortened, and mounting work property is improved.
