Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of struck, and reduce weight of the truck by using plate springs as axle springs in a four-wheel truck, and arranging the axle springs into an X-shape to connect axle boxes and a center plate, which receives a load of a car body, and omitting a side beam and a lateral beam. CONSTITUTION:Plate springs 4 are fitted to a center plate 5 and axle boxes 3 directly so as to form the X-shape, and transmits the load of a car body transmitted through the center plate 5 to the axle boxes 3. At this stage, both ends of the plate springs 4 connected to the axle boxes 3 are twisted at 90 deg. relative to the central plate thereof connected to the center plate 5. As a result, the central carries the spring work in the lateral direction to obtain the excellent oscillation characteristics.
