Abstract:

PURPOSE: To establish a method for producing an embryoid callus capable of inducing an adventitious embryo and a fundamental technique of mass proliferation of artificial seeds, etc., from the resultant callus.

CONSTITUTION: A lavender seed is sterilized and cultured in a basal culture medium without containing a hormone to produce the lavender embryoid callus.
