PURPOSE: A composition comprising a polar thermoplastic polymer having a polar functional group and a modified block copolymer to which a carboxylic acid group or its derivative group is added, having improved compatibility of both the components and mechanical characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polar thermoplastic polymer having a polar functional group is blended with (B) a modified block copolymer comprising a vinyl aromatic compound polymer block and an olefin compound polymer block, wherein a molecule unit containing a carboxylic acid group or its derivative group is linked to the block copolymer having the latter block having an unsaturation degree of ≤20wt%. A polyamide containing an amino group, hydroxyl group, etc. and thermoplastic polyester are used as the component A. A copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer of styrene and butadiene, followed by adding maleic anhydride to it is preferable as the component B. 98W2pts.wt. component A is blended with 2W98pts.wt. component B.
