PURPOSE: To facilitate the extracting work by a method wherein three actions, i.e. the detachment of a tube from a tube plate, the clamping of the tube, and the extraction of the tube are performed continuously.

CONSTITUTION: When clamps 1 are inserted between the tube P and the tube plate C, the expanded part of the tube P is squeezed. Then, the tube P is expanded again by the insertion of a tube expanding spindle 3 and at the same time caught at its inside by the teeth 4 of the tube expanding spindle 3. After that, the tube P is extracted from the tube plate C by shifting the whole tube extracting device in the direction to extract the tube P. Consequently, the three actions i.e. the detachment of the tube from the tube plate, the clamping of the tube, and the extraction of the tube are performed continuously, resulting in realizing the simple and efficient extracting work of the tube.
