Title:
OIL PUMP FOR ENCLOSED MOTOR COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS585487
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the power loss of an oil pump by providing a narrow path section at the opening of a conduction hole thereby preventing the mixture of oil into the suction gas.

CONSTITUTION: A capillary tube is pressure inserted through the opening of a conduction hole 13f extending higher than the open ends 13bW13e to the sliding section in the oil supply hole 13 made in the drive shaft 4 while a narrow section 13g is provided. Since the diameter at the narrow section 13g is quite short, the flow speed of the refigerant gas will increase above the conduction hole 13f, thereby even if the dynamic pressure effect is high the amount of oil to be sucked is quite low because of the friction of the conduit thus to facilitate the discharging of the refrigerant gas. Consequently the mixture of oil into the suction gas is prevented thus to reduce the power loss of the oil pump.
