Title:
FERROUS AMORPHOUS ALLOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07113151
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an amorphous alloy capable of producing a thin strip high in sheet thickness and small in the variation of the sheet thickness for producing the iron core of a power transformer.

CONSTITUTION: This amorphous alloy contains, by atom, 80 to 82.0% Fe, 10.0 to 12.3% B, 5.5 to 7.0% Si and 0.5 to 2.0% C, and the balance inevitable impurities and can produce a steel strip being ≥50μm sheet thickness and ≤10% the variation of the sheet thickness. The alloy can produce a transformer small in core loss and exciting power and high in magnetic flux density and is extremely effectively applied for the iron core of a power transformer or the like.
