PURPOSE: To spray a mist to an ironing objective area only by providing a spraying port to let a mist which is atomized by an ultrasonic oscillator pass through, on a iron base.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch 11 is depressed, a circuit 10 starts operating, and gives a high frequency pulse to an ultrasonic oscillator 6. The ultrasonic oscillator 6 which receives the signal generates an acoustic wave by vibrating by this frequency. This acoustic wave energy is concentrated to the vicinity of a contact point between a water absorbing body 5 which contains water by a horn 7, and the horn 7, and vibrates the water content in the water absorbing body 5 and atomizes the water content. Then, the atomized mist is sprayed in the vibrating direction of the horn 7, passes through a spraying port 12, and adsorbs on a clothes which is in contact with an iron base 1. By this method, a spraying can be done to an ironing objective area only, and the using handiness is improved.
