Abstract:
A device for detecting a coating on the outside of a plate (17) has on the underside of the housing (11) recesses (19) into which the foil pieces (20) made from highly optically transparent elastic material are inserted. Arranged on these foil pieces (20) are optical prisms (21) with the aid of which the radiation from the transmitter (12) is coupled into the plate (17) or is once again coupled out towards the receiver (13). A seal (23) is arranged in a groove (22) around the recesses (19) and around the measurement section (14) formed between the optical foil pieces (20). In order to mount the sensor (10) on the plate (17), there are glued on the plate (17) metal pieces (29) onto which the housing (11) can be screwed with the aid of screws (30). In addition, the housing (11) can be pressed on with the foot (35) of a mirror (36). The sensor (10) can be mounted in a completely assembled way, so that it has a very cost-effective design and is mounted with high strength on the inside of the plate (17).
