Abstract:
Apparatus for slicing food, vegetables or the like, having a knife-holding plate, at the front edge of which is arranged a V-shaped cutting knife consisting of two knife blades; two substantially parallel frame strips which are connected to one another by the knife-holding plate and at least one further transverse web; and a slide plate guided on the frame strips and capable of insertion parallel to the knife-holding plate, a narrow gap remaining between the rear portion of the slide plate and the cutting knife. According to the invention, the peripheral edge of the knife blades is held, at least in their rear region adjoining the V-tip of the cutting knife, positively by moulded-on plastic strands in the form of a horizontal U-profile.
