PURPOSE: To provide the titled joining device which is simple both in construction and operation by such an arrangement wherein a specific shaping mechanism and pressure bonding mechanism are arranged between a carrier mechanism for joined sheet-like material and another carrier mechanism for not yet joined sheet-like material.

CONSTITUTION: The conveyor belt 4 of No.1 carrier mechanism carries a joined sheet-like material 131, and the conveyor belt 22 of No.2 carrier mechanism carries a non-joined sheet-like material 132. No.1 shaping mechanism arranged between both carrier mechanisms is caused to ascend and its shaping surface 75 presses and shapes the terminal end of the sheet-like material 131 and at the same time, it places the leading end of the sheet-like material 132 on a sloping surface 78. The leading end is pressed and shaped by a shaping nail 85 and it is placed to be parallel with the terminal end of the sheet-like material 131 and both sheet-like materials are pressure bonded together by a pressure bonding roller 103.
