PURPOSE: To smoothly control the advancing direction of a recording material by providing a position converting means that displaces either of the first and second rotors that carry a recording material while putting it between themselves and by providing a recording material guiding means around the rotors.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of conveying rollers 17, 18 is provided in front of a fixing device 13, and a relative position between the rollers 17, 18 is made changeable by rocking a lever 19 with solenoids 22, 23 and guides 24, 25 are provided near said rollers as a recording material guiding means. And, the position of the roller 18 is changed by the rocking of the lever 19 along with the alternation of that of the guide 24 so that the recording material is sent in the A, B and C directions when single, double and multiple reproduction, respectively. Hereby, the advancing direction of a recording material can be smoothly changed without forcibly changing the feeding direction by a guide, etc.
