Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for improving soil in which moisture capable of growing plants without being semipermanently destroyed and causing any damage to environmental protection at all.
CONSTITUTION: The method for improving soil with a silica hydrogel is to place a silica hydrogel 3 in a packaging material 1 made of a water-absorbing resin film or a textile fabric, close the top surface thereof with a net 5 of metallic fiber, then embed the closed silica hydrogel in sand 9, subsequently inject 100g water to the sand 9, hold the water in the silica hydrogel 3, plant several carnations 11 with a root in the sand and grow the carnations. Thereby, the life is extremely prolonged.
