Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve safety by recording a voice signal of the owner of an individual identification card in the card in addition to a secret number, and at the using of the card, comparing the secret number and the voice with the recorded ones. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the latent recording of a secret number in a magnetic stripe 10 of an individual identification card 1, a prescribed owner's voice is recorded in a V-shaped groove-like voice recording track, which has a similar constitution to a record plate, fitted to a magnetic stripe 11 prepared in parallel with the magnetic stripe 10 or the side edge 11 of the card. At the use of the card, the secret number keyed in by the owner and the owner's voice are stored and compared with the data read out from the card 1. Thus, the safeness is improved by double checking.
