Abstract:
A printed web 2 is cut to the desired sheet length between a grooved, gripper and folding blade cylinder 3 and a cutting cylinder 5 placed against the latter. The resulting printed sheets 17 travel over a belt conveyor 9 to a collection cylinder 10 fitted with grippers 11, from which they are transferred to grippers 13 of a stapling cylinder 12. Stapling can take place after the transfer of the printed sheets 17 to the grooved, gripper and folding blade cylinder 3, from which the stapled or unstapled printed sheets are transferred to the folding jaw cylinder 15 for the production of a cross fold.
