Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the peeling off of a compound caused by the deformation of a battery jar due to the vibration during the transportation of a battery or the tightening during the installation by sticking an adhesive tape to the seal portion of the battery jar and a cover then pouring the compound.
CONSTITUTION: A double-coated adhesive tape 4 is stuck to the seal portion of a battery jar 1 and a cover 2, then a compound 3 is poured. For the adhesive of the double-coated adhesive tape 4, a rubber-series one with little deterioration of the adhesive strength even at a low temperature is preferable. Thereby, the compound at the seal portion of the battery jar and cover can be prevented from peeling off.
