Title:
COMBUSTION FURNACE OF FLUIDIZED BED TYPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS597810
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize combustion in a fluidized bed, by providing a means to feed the air to swirl the fluidized bed into a combustion furnace.

CONSTITUTION: Combustion air is fed into a furnace by a forced draft fan 1. The air is fed into a combustion zone 5 from the under part of a grid 3 passing through an air duct 2. Part of the air, branched off from the air duct 2, is also fed into the combustion zone 5, passing through an air box 15 for the air to swirl a fluidized bed. The main air is fed into the furnace along the side walls surrounding the fluidized bed, in the same direction. In such a constitution, combustion in the fluidized bed is stabilized, and the produced rate of unburned gas is decreased. The state of combustion will not be changed much in accordance with the change in load, because the concentration in unburned content of NOx and SOx, being produced from the fluidized bed, which is able to cause the change in load, is reduced down to low rate. As a result, such an effect to stabilize the combustion can be obtained.
