Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture spiral parts decreasing mon-hours of working and increasing material yield by performing plating of required strength on the surface after forming spiral parts by extrusion using Al as a material.
CONSTITUTION: Spiral parts 1' are formed by extrusion using Al as a material. In this case, forming is made to smaller size by the thickness of a plating layer in consideration of subsequent platings. Iron is plated to specified thickness on the surface of extruded Al parts. Thus, hardness similar to steel parts can be obtained.
