PURPOSE: To provide a steam-type inhalator whose inhalation cylinder can be removed without staining the inhalator and the surroundings with the discharged liquid in the inhalation cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: The inhalator comprises a main body 10 in which a steam tank 13, a heater 14, and a steam nozzle 15 are arranged and to which a lid 11 is attached, and an inhalation liquid section 12 integrally having an inhalation cylinder 17 and a bottle 18. The inhalation liquid section 12 can be installed on and removed from the main body 10. The inhalation liquid in an inhalation liquid reservoir 18a, is sucked up by the steam blown out from the steam nozzle 15, and is sprayed from an inhalation liquid nozzle 21. The discharged liquid adhering on the interior of the inhalation cylinder 17, flows down into a discharged liquid reservoir 18b from a discharged liquid outlet hole 16b at the extension part.
