PURPOSE: To obain a disposable waste liquid bottle having excellent handleability without the need for the treating operation of waste liquid for ink jet recorders by providing a sucking part to take waste liquid into the bottle and a holding part to hold the sucked waste liquid being built in the bottle.
CONSTITUTION: A water absorptive part 2 of a water-absorptive resin (e.g., acrylonitrile-grafted starch hydrolysate, etc., having a water absoprtion capacity 100 times or more as much as its own weight) and a water-absorptive and holding part 3 of a fibrous assemblage (e.g., woven fabrics, felts, etc.), for example, are set in a sandwiching manner in the inside of a bottle 1 to manufacture an objective bottle. The bottle is combined integrally with an ink supply bottle 10 with a part 12 and set to a cartridge 5 for waste liquid.
EFFECT: The miniaturazition and cost reduction of the bottle are made possible because the water absorption part having a capillary action is effectively combined with an water absorptive resin part, and the spilling of waste liquid during the attaching the detaching periods is avoided.
