Abstract:
The single chamber system has the chamber volume (10) tightly enclosed by the chamber wall (9). The wall is formed as a bendable elastic membrane and has inflow and outflow tubes (11) together with ventricles (12). The flexibility of the chamber wall allows a compression of the chamber volume by the drive (1 - 6). The necessary force transmission is ensured by the direct contact of the upper chamber wall with the lower core half (2). The space between the chamber wall and the housing (8) which remains next to the drive is filled with a gas-form material (7). This makes possible an open and closed variant, with the first case an adjustable pressure compensation (14) occurring and in the second case a volume alteration of the chamber producing a pressure alteration in the gas.
