PURPOSE: To transmit a command signal in a short time by editing plural command signals into one text signal, transmitting the signal to a communication line, receiving and decoding the transmitted signal at the reception side and restoring plural command signals.

CONSTITUTION: A command 1 and a command 2 are inputted from a storage medium MS of the host side 1 to a text editing section 2', where they are edited into the one text signal. The one edited text signal is transmitted to a communication line via a transmission/reception buffer 3. The station side 4 receives the transmitted text signal to the communication line by a transmission/reception buffer 5, the signal is inputted to a text decoding section 6' so as to execute the control or processing corresponding to the restored command signal. The host side 1 transmits a selection signal to select the station side 4 and when the corresponding station side 4 transmits a response signal ACKO, the host side 1 judges the connection of the communication line and transmits a text signal (commands 1+2) comprising plural command signals.
