Title:
ALTERNATING CURRENT POWER REGULATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5810215
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a component in the vicinity even with a large current flowing at a large power regulation from being affected with inductive heating due to eddy currents, by sufficiently cancelling a magnetic field generated at a current flowing to a conductor between input and output terminals. CONSTITUTION:The difference from conventional systems resides in the provision of a conductor 5 directly connected between input and output terminals 1 and 2, between conductors 3 and 4 which connected the input and output terminals 1 and 2 via semiconductor rectifying elements 6 and 7. The current distribution when forward and reverse conducting semiconductor rectifying elements 6 and 7 are conductive is shown in figure. As shown in figure, the absolute value of the current flowing to conductors 3 and 4, and that to the conductor 5 is equal and the direction is opposite with each other over the entire parts from the input terminal 1 to the output terminal 2, allowing to cancell the magnetic field remarkably due to the current flowing to the conductors.
