PURPOSE: To reduce weight and volume and omit the replacement of an inert gas cylinder by adding a device that supplies fuel depending upon the load to the reforming device of a liquid static type liquid fuel battery or a gas fuel battery.
CONSTITUTION: The liquid fuel stored in a fuel tank 1 is supplied by a fuel pump 6. Since an electromagnetic opening and closing valve 3 is closed when the fuel in a laminate battery 4 is full, the liquid fuel passes through a bypass and returns to the entrance side of the fuel pump 6 through a pressure regulating valve 7. In this case, the liquid fuel at the exit side of the fuel pump 6 is pressurized to the pressure preset by the pressure regulating valve 7. When current is applied to a load 8, the signal of a current detector 9 enters a control circuit 10 that is driven by the power of the laminated battery 4. The output represented by the function of current is supplied to the fuel pump 6 and the electromagnetic opening and closing valve 3 and the liquid fuel is supplied to the laminated battery 4. As a result, since the pressurized gas for fuel supply is not required, any high pressure cylinder is not required.
