Title:
HEAT TRANSFER INK SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5933175
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a heat transfer ink sheet excellent in fluidity of a low melting point material at the time of its melting and in a transfer sensitivity, by a method wherein small amounts of an oil or fat (which is a liquid at normal temperature) and a mineral oil are added to an ink material, whereby adhesion between an ink sheet and a recording paper at the time of recording is lowered and delamination of an ink layer is prevented.

CONSTITUTION: For example, an ink obtained by mixing (A) carnauba wax, (B) a dye, (C) a filler (e.g., carbon black), (D) a surface active agent and (E) a liquid oil or fat and a mineral oil in a weight ratio of 2:1:1.5:0.3:0.1 is applied onto a base for an ink sheet, preferably in a thickness of 5W3μm to obtain the objective ink sheet.

EFFECT: Images can be transferred with high sensitivity, can be freed from irregularities, and the ink sheet can be used repeatedly.
