PURPOSE: To attain the reduction of power consumption and miniaturization and to connect a video camera to an optional television receiver, by using the video camera incorporating a solid-state image pickup element.

CONSTITUTION: The camera 8 using the solid-state image pickup element is adopted, and a voltage generated from a flyback transformer in a television receiver 9 is used as a power supply for the camera 8. This is made possible with less power consumption of the solid-state image pickup element and the power supply for the camera is not required.
