PURPOSE: To both surely guide a sheet to the direction of a take-out passage and permit a sag in an intermediate part of the sheet, by facing the point end part of a thin flexible plate toward in the take-out passage of the sheet and arranging the thin flexible plate in a cantilever state in the junction point of sheet take-in passages.

CONSTITUTION: A paper feed passage device 5 is equipped with a take-out passage 11, formed by a set of guide plates 9, 10 vertically placed at a face-to-face position, and end parts of said guide plates 9, 10 are spread along outsides of the first take-in passage 6 and the second take-in passage 8, then a flexible plate 14 is provided in a space between the end parts of these guide plates 9, 10, that is, in the junction part of the both take-in passages 6, 8. A base part 14a of this flexible plate 14 is fixed to a mounting frame 15, partitioning the first and second take-in passages 6 and 8, and a point end part 14b is directed to the take-out passage 11. As a result, recording paper A can be surely guided to a direction of the take-out passage 11, while a loop can be fully formed.
