Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6049615
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contrive to form a superconductive magnet in a small type by a method wherein a powder spray layer is provided on the surface of a stabilizer to increase the cooling area.

CONSTITUTION: A linear superconductor 2 is buried in a stabilizer 1 to form a superconductive wire 5. Powder 3 of a metal or an electric insulator is sprayed to the surface of the stabilizer 1 to increase the cooling area, and thus a spray layer 4 is formed. A superconductive magnet is formed by winding round the superconducting wire 5 formed with the spray layer 4 like this. The sectional area of the stabilizer 1 can be reduced in the range to endure mechanical stress to be required when a magnetic field is formed, and formation of the superconducting magnet in a small type can be attained.
