Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain simple and lightweight reduction gears simultaneously with large reduction gear ratio and high positioning accuracy by a structure wherein a flexible sleeve gear is successively engaged with a fixed gear and an output gear by means of supporting members fixed to an input shaft. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve gear 7 consists of a first internal gear 7a with the number of teeth (a) and a second internal gear 7b with the number of teeth (a+n). An output gear 11a is rotated in large reduction gear ratio by engaging the sleeve gear 7 with the fixed gear 10a and the output gear 11a, the numbers of teeth of both of which are equal to those of 7a and 7b respectively by means of the supporting members 8 while rotating the input shaft 1.
