PURPOSE:To reproduce a desired music on the other side without replacing a tape by using each music selection memory storing a desired music number in response to a normal rotation side and a reverse rotation side, a music selection input means and a memory changeover input means to allow a music selection start side memory to reproduce sequentially the desired music of the side designated. CONSTITUTION:The normal rotation side and reverse rotation side memories 8, 9 are selected by the operation of the memory changeover switch 6 and then a desired music number is inputted from a music selection key input section. In this case, the information on the side selected at first is stored in the music selection start side memory 14. Thus, the 1st desired music is stored. In selecting plural pieces of music at random, the said operation is repeated. In case of start of music selection, the storage side of the memory 14 is decided, and when the side if the normal side, the music having the set music number on the normal side is reproduced. When the end of reproduction is finished, the reproduction moves to the desired music on the other side. In this processing, since the tape is rewound to the start end of the tape at each change of the side of selected music if the music is selected as being set togehter with the normal side and the reverse side and time is required for the music selection, then the random setting is replaced into the random music selection at each music side.
