Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate radix at input, by making the reading of a figure coincident with a key operation as it is.

CONSTITUTION: A key (,) signifying 1,000 times, and keys of all the units for radix used for reading, such as ten (Ju), hundred (Hyaku), thousand (Sen), ten thousand (Man), one hundred million (Oku), one hundred billion (Cho), one- thenths (Wari), one-hundredths (Bu) and one-thousandths (Mo) are provided as independent keys. The key operation is made in the order or reading; for example, 78,901,234,567 is sectioned into 4 digits and the key operation is made as; 7 (Hyaku):700, 8(Ju): 780, 9(Oku):789(Oku), 1(Hyaku), 2(Ju):780(Oku) 120, 3(Man): 789(Oku) 123(Man), 4(Sen):789 (Oku) 123(Man) 4,000, 5(Hyaku): 789(Oku) 4,500, 6(Ju): 789(Oku) 123(Man) 4,560, 7:789(Oku)123(Man)4,567.
