Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily retrieve a map over a wide area by continuously displaying the maps of different azimuths or scales with a simple input concerning the method for displaying such a map on a screen. CONSTITUTION:Based on retrieved map information, a map MA for the range of one part is displayed at least so as to be scrolled on a screen HG, in the case of scrolling over the area on the map previously registered as a skip source, map information containing the area on the map registered as a skip destination corresponding to this skip source is retrieved and in place of the map MA1 of the skip source, a retrieved map MA2 of the skip destination is displayed on the screen.
