Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the adhesive strength if a releasing agent to a master mold, to improve the quality of an anode, to prolong the service life of the master mold and to reduce the consumption of the releasing agent by using mixed aqu. solution containing clayey powder and water glass as an aqu. releasing agnet solution for casting. SOLUTION: In a releasing agnet coating equipment in an anode casting equipment of copper electrolysis, the clayey powder and the water glass are dissolved in the water and the obtd. mixed water solution 3 is applied on the master mold 2. In such a case, the concns. of the clay powder and the water glass in the mixed aqu. solution is desirably to be 4-8wt.% and 0.5-0.6mol% respectively. The water glass is desirable to be the concd. aqu. solution of silicon dioxide-alkali base glass obtained by dissolving the silicon dioxide with the alkali, is colorless and high viscous liquid, has high tackiness, and become vitrifoam by drying when left standing in the air. The Figure (a) is in the case of applying this invention and the Figure (b) is in the case of the conventional method.
